Krissie Brownlee:
http://www.kzbdance.com ,from Washington Pennsylvania started teaching line dances in 1995. In June of 1999 she entered her first line dance competition at the JG2 Marathon in which she took home a 1st place female crystal trophy. She also competed in Nashville that same year with the same results.
The road she was traveling though was turning to West Coast Swing. She was hooked. In 1998 she started taking private lessons with her current dance partner/boyfriend Jackie Lindsey. She took Lessons in West Coast Swing and Two Step. Krissie and Jackie competed together in 2000 and 2002 on the country circuit; Two Step, East Coast Swing and West Coast Swing.
They decided to give up country and competed in Just Dance Competions: Nashville Classic 2003, Halloween in Harrisburg and Swing Fling to name a few. They finished 2nd through 4th place.
On the Jack and Jill circuit, Krissie has several 1st place winnings in Intermediate: Swing Fling 2002 and Mad Jam 2003. She also has a 1st in Advanced: Halloween in Harrisburg 2003. In 2004 she placed 2nd at Swing Niagara, which gives her enough points to compete in Advance Jack and Jill.
Krissie started teaching beginner West Coast Swing in 2002. Currently, Krissie teaches Line, beginner Two Step, Pattern Partner Dances and West Coast Swing. Krissie and Jackie are currently in the process of working on a routine in which they plan on using in competition in the near future.
Jim & Marlene Call :
50nowear@adelphia.net ,started dancing in the 70s along with John Travolta after the movie Saturday Night Fever came out and it has been our hobby ever since. I have placed 1st in strictly Hustle at Cash Bash 2003 and 1st place in Pro Am Advance Silver Hustle at the World Hustle Dance Championship's 2003 & 2004. Also 1st place in Pro Am Hustle at Mad Jam 2005. Have several 3rd, 4th and 5th places in both Swing and Hustle since 2001 when I started to compete. We do about 6 event's a year.
We have been married for 41 years and have 2 Daughters and 5 Grandchildren. I retired from the Pittsburgh & Conneaut Dock Co. after 32 years. In the early years I have tried out for the show Dance Fever but never made it to Hollywood. We have lived in Conneaut all our married lives and raised our children here. One of our daughters likes the same dancing as we do the other one doesn't.
When I retired, one of the first things I did was to make one of the rooms in our house a dance studio. We never taught alot before we joined Y-Dance. It has been a learning experience. Other hobbies are reading, gardening (my wife)
I like to work on our motorcycle (baby) and build things. We also enjoy cruise's, gambling and travel in general.

Connie Coufal :
OHConnie1@aol.com , Connie started dancing 10 years ago...a little Two-Step, Swing and Country Line Dancing. At the peak of the "Country Craze", met her life and dance partner, Tim Brown. This led to training in both Ballroom and Latin, which eventually placed her as one of the top National Pro-Am competitors.
Nothing can compare to the rewards from one dance alone, "West Coast Swing." Connie has won numerous Strictly Swing and Jack & Jill titles, including a first (and second) place at the prestigious Atlanta Grand Nationals. Last year she and Tim brought home a second place title from the US Open Masters Division.
Traveling to Swing events across the country, Connie continues to train with the top dancers and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences with all who love to dance. If you have worked with Connie, then you already know that she has a strong belief in the foundation of the dance and loves teaching advanced basics.
She teaches from her home in Akron and at Let's Dance!Cleveland (interrupted by her day job!)
